Congratulations, Delawareans! We’ve survived the POLAR VORTEX!

It was “winter” after all! But who would have anticipated, or wanted, eight storms targeting tiny, little Delaware? It’s practically unheard of in this area! Nevertheless, as we patiently ache for spring, sure signs are finally here. The days are finally getting longer, the breeze from the ocean is a bit warmer and soon that odd Polar Vortex will be a distant memory. For those weary and worn out, there’s light at the end of the tunnel…

So, as some say in our neighboring state of New Jersey, “forget about it!” Now is the time to start enjoying all the wonderful events this coastal area has to offer. Partly a farewell to winter and partly a prelude to the state’s beach-centric summer, springtime in Delaware is a coming-out party of amazing proportions! Take your pick of the below 2014 Spring and Summer Festivals that encourage BIG fun for the whole family!
